2021 IPRO/eDiscovery Today Corporate Legal Snapshot Survey

Here’s something different for my weekly IPRO post.  IPRO and eDiscovery Today have teamed up for the first ever IPRO/eDiscovery Today Corporate Legal Snapshot Survey!  And if you’re a corporate legal professional, we want you to participate!

The Corporate Legal Snapshot Survey (available here) literally takes 1-2 minutes to complete.  It’s an eleven-question survey covering various topics such as: 1) how you expect your current in-house legal processes to change in 2021, 2) how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted your information governance and/or eDiscovery practices, 3) how often your legal team uses predictive coding to conduct review, 4) whether you would consider using previously-used AI predictions on similar cases, 5) how many outside counsel firms your organization uses, 6) how often your legal team manages issues with Personally Identifiable Information or Personal Health Information (PII/PHI) in litigation, 7) what steps your organization has taken to support compliance with Privacy Laws, such as GDPR or CCPA, 8) what data types your organization regularly addresses in your discovery practice, 9) how your organization manages collections to support discovery, 10) at what point in the EDRM model your organization typically begins engaging your outside counsel firm(s) and 11) how you measure ROI when it comes to eDiscovery software.

The Corporate Legal Snapshot Survey will be conducted over the course of several weeks among corporate legal professionals and will be concluded once there is a statistically significant number of responses.  All responses will be kept confidential.  IPRO and eDiscovery Today will be conducting a webinar targeted for early June to discuss the results and will also be publishing a report to be available for distribution as well.  Stay tuned for more details to come on both!

If you’re a corporate legal professional, please take a few moments and share your insights in this short, multiple choice survey, the link is here.  Number 5 is alive!

Thanks to the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), an Affinity partner of eDiscovery Today, for their assistance in promoting the survey!

So, what do you think?  Are you a corporate legal professional?  If so, please consider taking the survey!  And please share any comments you might have or if you’d like to know more about a particular topic.
