What’s Relativity focused on for 2025? This blog post from CEO Phil Saunders illustrates how Relativity is embracing the future of legal data!
In the post titled Embracing the Future of Legal Data in 2025 and Beyond (available here), Phil discusses how “Relativity is putting Legal Data Intelligence into action, transforming legal work with generative AI, and embracing the next step toward cloud transformation—so we can all thrive in the legal profession of today.”
As Phil notes in the introduction to his post, “With more than 20 years of experience under our belt, nearly $1 billion in technology investments in our solutions over the past several years, and some of the best people in this (or any!) business, we humbly understand how important it is to anticipate and embrace change. As we race to stay ahead of it, it’s critical to do so strategically—to capture the moment, deeply understand what makes it unique, and take action.”
Per Phil, taking action involves three components:
- The Legal Data Intelligence (LDI) initiative, which was founded less than one year ago by Relativity and industry veterans seeking to redefine the scope of work of the legal profession’s people and platforms.
- Advancing Generative AI (which includes developing generative AI solutions that are incredibly fast, accurate, reliable, and useful, guided by clear AI Principles).
- Reaching the Next Milestone in Legal’s Journey to the Cloud, which reiterates Relativity’s commitment to the cloud in a very definitive way (I won’t spoil Phil’s thunder on that one!).
Embracing the future of legal data is music to my ears, as I’ve continued to stress that eDiscovery is about data, not documents. If generative AI and the cloud are the engine that will enable the eDiscovery industry to leap forward, data is the fuel the technology needs to make it happen. Check out Phil’s post here for more information on Relativity’s focus and vision for 2025!
