Cloudficient Names Eric Robinson Chief Operating Officer & President of Legal Solutions

DOVER, Del., Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Cloudficient today announced the appointment of Eric Robinson as Chief Operating Officer and President of Legal Solutions, strengthening the company’s executive leadership as it expands its focus on solving complex legal, eDiscovery, information governance, and data management challenges.

Eric brings more than 25 years of experience across legal, eDiscovery, information governance, and project management. In his new role, he will lead Cloudficient’s legal solutions business, working closely with customers while helping shape the company’s strategy, solutions, and go-to-market approach.

The appointment represents a significant investment in Cloudficient’s legal solutions business as organizations confront a rapidly changing data environment. Cloud applications, collaboration platforms, evolving documents, changing identities, and increasingly complex regulatory requirements are creating new challenges for how organizations identify, preserve, understand, and manage legally significant information.

“Eric brings a rare combination of legal expertise, operational experience, and deep understanding of the real-world challenges organizations face managing modern data,” said Peter Parker, CEO of Cloudficient. “We are making a significant investment in our legal solutions business, and Eric is exactly the kind of leader we want helping us build it. He understands the problems our customers are trying to solve, and he shares our belief that technology and practitioner expertise need to work together to create better, more defensible outcomes.”

Throughout his career, Eric has helped organizations address complex legal and regulatory obligations while managing cost, risk, and operational complexity. He has advised clients across the information governance and eDiscovery lifecycles, including information and discovery management assessments, data privacy compliance, data remediation initiatives, complex litigation, regulatory investigations, and cyber incident response. He has also served as a consultant and testifying expert, including as a Rule 30(b)(6) corporate witness.

That experience closely aligns with Cloudficient’s growing portfolio of legal solutions, including Context-Aware eDiscovery® and Legal Data Continuity™. Eric will play a central role in ensuring that real-world legal and operational requirements continue to inform how Cloudficient develops its technology, delivers its solutions, and works with customers across the information and eDiscovery lifecycles.

“The way organizations create, share, and manage information and data has changed dramatically, but many of the processes used to identify, preserve, and understand that information have not kept pace,” said Eric Robinson, Chief Operating Officer and President of Legal Solutions at Cloudficient. “What attracted me to Cloudficient is the opportunity to rethink those challenges from the ground up, combining technology with practical legal and operational experience. I’m excited to work with our clients and the Cloudficient team to build solutions that address the real world challenges of rapidly evolving data landscapes, addressing where eDiscovery and information governance are going, not simply where they have been.”

Congrats again to Cloudficient for the announcement that Cloudficient names Eric Robinson Chief Operating Officer & President of Legal Solutions! A great addition to a great team!
