Let the Legalweek recaps begin! Here’s the first I’m covering – That Tech Pod Legalweek 2024 Recap, which includes an interview with me!
That Tech Pod is a podcast about eDiscovery, cybersecurity, data privacy, tech innovations and beyond, conducted by Laura Milstein, Gabriela Schulte and Kevin Albert. They have been conducting regular podcasts for over two years and have built a considerable following – chances are, many of you are already subscribers. I was honored to be one of their first ever interviewees when they launched the podcast! Here’s a link to their page with all their episodes.
In this week’s episode which you can check out here, Laura and Kevin are providing their That Tech Pod Legalweek 2024 Recap on this special bonus episode! From new and emerging trends to the latest developments in legal technology, they’ve provided a frank, inside look at everything that’s happening on the conference floor, at the sessions, at the events surrounding the conference, and more! They discuss the companies, the people, and the swag that make Legalweek such an exciting event.
Not only that, but this week’s episode also includes live interviews with Jen Sherman (Chief Product and Experience Officer at CARET Legal, a global leader in practice management solutions catering to professional services firms) and me!
During my interview (which occurs during the first few minutes of the podcast and was conducted live at the show), Laura and Kevin ask me about my impressions of this year’s conference and notable trends (three guesses and the first two don’t count on the top trend!), organization of the exhibit hall and advice to people who are experiencing Legalweek for the first time (spoiler alert: wear comfortable shoes!).
It was nice to catch up with Laura and Kevin for a brief chat in That Tech Pod Legalweek 2024 Recap! Even if Kevin’s comment afterward that “Doug’s been in the industry forever” did make me feel a bit old! 😀 Check it out!
