Stephen is an experienced leader in addressing the practical needs of the lifecycle of the discovery process and implementing teams and solutions to address those efforts. With over 25 years of industry experience, he has been instrumental in developing and maintaining two litigation support departments at other firms and currently is the Director of the Electronic Discovery and Litigation Support department at Sullivan & Cromwell. He works closely with the Firm and its clients to provide cost-effective solutions with appropriate controls to mitigate risk, enhance security/compliance, and promote continuous improvement.

Stephen represents domestic and international clients in the litigation, mediation and arbitration of complex commercial and business disputes. He has represented a diverse range of U.S. and international businesses and commercial interests, including banks, Fortune 500 companies, investment firms, closely held companies, and individuals confronted with challenging legal and business issues. He has a strong track record as an experienced and practical litigator. He also advises clients on pre-litigation matters and early resolution of actions as well as discovery issues. He has substantial experience in connection with e-discovery matters and routinely counsels clients on practical and legal issues relating to forensic preservation and analysis of electronic devices.
