Dr. Taranto leads research and innovation of accelerated learning solutions by directing multidisciplinary teams of technologists, subject matter experts, and data scientists to train the technologies that replicate human decisions. She built the ProSearch Linguistics, Analytics, and Data Science group and oversees the design and implementation of search and automated document review solutions. She is recognized for her expertise in the range of Technology Assisted Review (TAR) technologies, including the application of TAR to emerging issues in protecting private information. She is a published author in the fields of linguistics and information retrieval and frequently presents on topics related to leveraging technology to meet the challenges of discovery.
She received her B.A. from Kresge College at the University of California, Santa Cruz, with honors, and her M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego.

Bobby Malhotra is a litigation partner at Winston & Strawn. Bobby’s practice focuses on navigating complex eDiscovery, digital forensics, cross-border, and data privacy issues in high-stakes litigation and investigations using his unique combination of both hands-on technical skill and two decades of business and litigation experience. A true “techno” lawyer, he uses his technical knowledge and legal expertise to serve clients across numerous sectors and industries. Bobby also serves as trusted eDiscovery advisor to Fortune 500 clients, and in this role he provides counseling and guidance in connection with legally defensible and standardized company-wide discovery practices.

Phil Warther is a Data Scientist at ProSearch. He joined ProSearch in 2018, shortly after completing a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics at California State Long Beach. While at CSULB, Phil focused his research on deep learning algorithms and mathematical modeling. As a member of ProSearch’s Applied Sciences Group, Phil develops solutions for a variety of eDiscovery tasks with an emphasis on deep learning and mathematical analysis.
