There’s a virtual plethora of virtual events for legal technology education right now! See what I did there? 😉 And that includes a two-day FREE event being conducted next week by Corporate Counsel Business Journal – CCBJ’s ELITE LegalTech virtual event! And I’m excited to be a part of it!
CCBJ’s ELITE LegalTech event offers a platform for leading professionals to present the next generation of legal technology and further develop relationships with clients, prospects and other legal tech innovators. The conference is counter to the culture of hosting events featuring hundreds of exhibitors for the audience to weed through. With less competition in the exhibit hall, there will be more opportunities for in-depth discussion about the future of technology in the legal profession.
CCBJ’s ELITE LegalTech event will be conducted next Wednesday, May 5th through Thursday, May 6th and it includes sessions on topics including:
- Leveraging Legal Technology to Enhance Leadership, Culture and Communication
- Data Governance and Storage
- Intersection of Privacy, Cyber Security and Compliance
- Managing Risk and Privacy in the E-discovery and Review Process
- Governance and Compliance: A Global Approach
- Value-Based Billing Versus Task-Based Billing – Striving for a True Corporate Legal/Law Firm Partnership; and
- Ethics
The complete agenda for the event is available here.
I will be moderating the session From Complexity to Clarity: Harnessing the Right AI for Your Legal Processes Now and Tomorrow on Thursday, May 6 from 12:40pm – 1:25pm ET, with a 15-minute breakout session afterward for further discussion on trends and a case study. A description of the session is available here. I’m delighted to be presenting with:
- TracyAnn Eggen, Manager of eDiscovery Solutions for Investigation and Litigation, Dignity Health
- Jake Harrell, Division Counsel, Enterprise Data & Digital Health, AbbVie; and
- Sheila Mackay, Managing Director, H5
It should be a great discussion regarding use cases for AI and the significant competitive advantage enabled by AI adoption. Come join us!
Tickets for CCBJ’s ELITE LegalTech event are available here and they’re FREE (at least if you’re an in-house legal professional, law firm professional or individual or institutional investor). It should be enlightening and educational!
