Don’t forget that IPRO will be sponsoring the Power Up Lounge today from 8am to 5pm at the Gauguin 2 Room in the Bellagio where you can Power Up at CLOC and “savor a piping hot cup of coffee, refreshing water, and delectable snacks while you power up your devices”.
Not only that, IPRO is hosting several “mini-presentations on a range of soft skills” for you to enjoy while you’re relaxing. I’m conducting two of them: 10 Reasons to Embrace Technology in Legal Operations at 8:30am and 10 eDiscovery Project Management Tips in 15 Minutes at 11:30am. Come join us!

In this talk, Baratunde breaks down the four pillars of How to Citizen which are to participate, to invest in relationships, to understand power, and to value the collective as in working towards outcomes that benefit the many and not just the few. He will connect larger themes of transformation shifting our ideas of society including race relations and technological innovation. He’ll also include many jokes.

Super Session: The New Era of Knowledge Management (Tower Ballroom)
In the battle to capture, organize, and surface company knowledge, it’s time to admit defeat. There’s too much information, spread across too many minds and systems, all of which grow and change faster than we can process.
But defeat does not mean failure. Thanks to AI we are approaching a new paradigm which will change the meaning of knowledge management for legal operators everywhere. In this session, we’ve assembled legal ops thinkers Mary O’Carroll, Jason Boehmig, Jason Kwon, Charlene Barone, and Christina Wojcik to discuss their predictions and strategies for this new era.
Speakers: Charlene Barone, Director of Legal Operations and Strategy, Orangetheory; Jason Boehmig, CEO, Ironclad; Jason Kwon, General Counsel, OpenAI; Mary O’Carroll, Chief Community Officer, Ironclad; Christina Wojcik, Director of Innovation and Technology, Citi Bank.
In addition to the Wednesday CGI 2023 sessions, there’s another exhibit hall networking reception and several other gatherings as well. But remember, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! 😉
