Collaboration Data Snapshot Survey Results from CLOC: Legal Operations Trends

See what I did there? 😉 Last week, during the CLOC Global Institute (CGI) conference, Hanzo conducted a collaboration data snapshot survey! Here are the results!

In Hanzo’s latest blog post from Jim Gill titled Hanzo Collaboration Data Snapshot Survey Results from CLOC (available here), Jim discusses how Hanzo took a quick snapshot survey of Legal Operations professionals during the CGI conference to gain insights into how people are using collaboration data and how it’s affecting in-house legal departments.

Here’s a partial recap of what Hanzo learned in their collaboration data snapshot survey:

Collaboration Tools

Microsoft Teams continues to dominate other collaboration apps in the enterprise space.

Data Retention Policies

There is quite a bit of variance in the data retention arena, with 30% hanging onto their data forever, 60% dumping it after a year, and no one flirting with the ephemeral and deleting it after only 24 hours.

So, what else did Hanzo learn last week during their survey? And is there an infographic that summarizes the results? (Spoiler alert: the answer is yes!). Check that out here – it’s only one more click! Have I told you lately that I love…an infographic? Well, I do! 😀

So, what do you think? How does your organization address legal ops? Please share any comments you might have or if you’d like to know more about a particular topic.
