Here’s a new blog series from Cimplifi on mobile device discovery, starting with the current landscape of mobile device discovery!
In their post titled (wait for it!) Going Mobile: The Current Landscape of Mobile Device Discovery (available here), Cimplifi starts with three statistics that illustrate just how ubiquitous mobile devices are in our everyday lives:
- On average, people in the U.S. spend about 4 hours and 39 minutes daily on their mobile phones. And that’s excluding voice calls!
- Mobile devices account for 67% of website traffic.
- The number of smartphone users is expected to reach 7.1 billion in 2024, indicating that around 85% of the global population owns a smartphone!
With stats like that, it’s not surprising that in the current landscape of mobile device discovery, discovery of mobile devices is up! How much has it risen in the past couple of years? Find out here, it’s only one click! And check out what other topics Cimplifi will be covering in their “Going Mobile” series! 🙂
So, what do you think? How often do you have mobile device data in your litigation cases? Please share any comments you might have or if you’d like to know more about a particular topic.
