Want to hear my thoughts on eDiscovery trends, including GenAI? Check out the latest episode of Voices of Tech & Litigation with Ray Beken!
Ray Beken is a longtime eDiscovery professional and is a Director at Chorus Consulting LLC. Ray and I were co-workers at CloudNine for several years, and our offices were side-by-side the entire time (which meant we went to lunch together a lot). So, when Ray asked if I would be a guest on Voices of Tech & Litigation, I was excited to say “yes”!
Ray and I discussed a variety of topics, including:
- My Blogging Career: How I became a daily blogger and how I decide what to write about.
- Trends and Challenges in eDiscovery: My thoughts about emerging trends like moving to the left of the EDRM, cloud integration, and the challenges of managing modern attachments and hyperlinked files.
- Key eDiscovery Case Law Trends: Recent eDiscovery case law trends including increasing sanctions for spoliation of video evidence, privilege disputes, proportionality issues, and the rising scrutiny of ESI protocols.
- The Impact of Generative AI on eDiscovery and Legal Practices: How generative AI is changing the eDiscovery landscape, its legal implications, and the ethical considerations that arise.
- Thought Leadership and Blogging in the Era of AI: How AI tools like ChatGPT are influencing blogging and the importance of providing original thought leadership to stand out.
It was a fun 26-minute discussion that I hope you will find informative! Check it out below or on YouTube here!
And check out other interviews that Ray has done in his Voices of Tech & Litigation series on the Chorus Consulting YouTube channel, including with: 1) John Myers, Managing Director of Chorus Consulting, 2) Scott Zimmerman, Director of Recruiting at Two Point Consulting, and 3) Michelle Drolet, CEO and Founder of Towerwall, Inc. But click on my interview twice so that I get more views than them. 😉
