Greg Buckles on the eDiscovery Channel

Greg Buckles on the eDiscovery Channel Talking Microsoft 365: eDiscovery Trends

Tom O’Connor & I had a fun discussion on his popular eDiscovery Channel interview series, discussing Microsoft 365 with Greg Buckles!

Greg has been in the industry a long time, providing consulting services for much of that, mostly as an independent consultant. That’s probably why Greg has the description of “Perpetual Project Manager” on his LinkedIn profile. Chances are, many of you know him for his excellent blog eDiscovery Journal, which he has been publishing since 2010! The tagline for eDiscovery Journal describes Greg’s style perfectly: “Unfettered perspective without polished marketing fluff and murky best practices.”

In our interview, Greg, Tom and I discussed keeping up with the frequent changes to Microsoft products, especially M365, Teams and CoPilot, and how they impact eDiscovery best practices. Greg has been keeping up with Microsoft’s Roadmap and regularly publishes a list of roadmap items and their eDiscovery impact. It’s a terrific resource you should check out and Greg has a lot of knowledge about M365, the changes that have happened recently, and potential changes to come.

Oh, and we also discussed hurricanes a bit, as Greg and I just went through one (Beryl) and Tom has experienced more than his share of hurricanes over there in “Nawlins”. 😉

It was a fun discussion with Greg! Check out our interview with Greg Buckles here or below via the eDiscovery Channel!

So, what do you think? Who should Tom and I add to our interview queue? Please share any comments you might have or if you’d like to know more about a particular topic.

  1. Great conversation. Validates many of our design decisions for our Expireon product and the strategy behind our upcoming CaseCrafter Suite.

Greg was already a star back in our Symantec days. Now he is one of the top resources for all things Microsoft. Hope he will feature regularly.
