Tom O’Connor & I had a fun discussion on his popular eDiscovery Channel interview series, discussing the eDiscovery Unfiltered report with Ari Kaplan!
Ari is the Principal of Ari Kaplan Advisors, a well-recognized legal industry analyst, speaker, ghostwriter, and podcast host in eDiscovery, having been the host of the Reinventing Professionals podcast since 2009. He’s also founder of Lawcountability, a coaching software platform and iPhone app, formed the group (of python programmers) python “mafia”, and is the chairman of the Global Advisory Board for ACEDS. He also organizes morning runs at many legal tech conferences!
Ari also publishes the eDiscovery Unfiltered report of industry trends and observations from corporate and law firm legal professionals. And this year is the tenth annual report!
In our interview, Tom and I discussed the report with Ari, including how it got started, how it involves eDiscovery providers, what Ari won’t do with the report and more! We also discussed general trends in eDiscovery and the upcoming ILTACON conference (which is now underway).
While the full report isn’t publicly available and is generated primarily for the participants, Ari has made a mini subset of the report available to me to share, which is here. I will also publish a separate post later this week with selected findings from the eDiscovery Unfiltered report.
It was a fun and informative discussion with Ari! Check out our interview with Ari Kaplan here or below via the eDiscovery Channel!
