Relativity Fest 2024

Relativity Fest 2024 is Two Weeks Away!: eDiscovery Conferences

Relativity Fest 2024 is coming up later this month! Here are some early highlights to expect, including a session I’m speaking in!

Relativity Fest is an annual conference designed to educate and connect the eDiscovery community, and it’s taking place this year September 25-27 in Chicago. As usual, there will be over 100 sessions across a variety of session tracks, ranging from Industry Insights to sessions that offer Continuing Legal Education (CLE) to sessions that promote Community & Culture. Not to mention workshops and other sessions for those looking to learn more about Relativity’s capabilities, strategies for using it to address today’s eDiscovery and legal challenges, and more!

There are also 236(!) speakers for this year’s event. And – as indicated by the above graphic – I’m one of them! I’m excited to be part of the Case Law Update panel on Thursday, September 26th at 1pm! Here is the session description:

Case Law Update

Learn about everything from the legal status of hyperlinks to the continuing impact of artificial intelligence on the law at Relativity Fest’s Case Law Update. Join us for this continuing legal education (CLE) program reviewing recent case law in the fields of e-discovery law and related legal disciples with Judge Allison Goddard providing the view from the bench, the Honorable Andrew Peck and eDiscovery Today Editor Doug Austin sharing some of their top picks from EDRM’s Important eDiscovery Case Law Decisions, ESI Attorneys Principal and eDiscovery Assistant CEO Kelly Twigger with selections from the ACEDS-eDiscovery Assistant Case of the Week, and Moderator David Horrigan of Relativity sharing selections from his annual Data Discovery Legal Year in Review. The team will review and analyze important legal decisions over the last year and let you know how these cases will affect you, your practice, and your entire organization.

And (as I understand it) each of us is going to pick our case of the year (so far, at least), so look for that! I already have selected mine (on the most important eDiscovery issue of the year). That’s a clue for you! 😀

The full interactive agenda is here. Even if you can’t make it, Relativity Fest is still one of the few conferences that supports virtual and in-person attendance! Register to attend Relativity Fest 2024 virtually or in-person here.

In addition to speaking, I will be covering the conference as press and will be reporting on notable educational sessions each day. Hope to see you there! And I will have a preview of some notable sessions to check out next week!

So, what do you think? Are you attending Relativity Fest 2024? If so, come say hi! And please share any comments you might have or if you’d like to know more about a particular topic.
