Women in eDiscovery™ Announces New Regional Directors

ELIOT, ME – May 29, 2025 Women in eDiscovery (WiE), a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing together women interested in technology related to the legal profession, is pleased to announce the appointment of two new regional directors. Dawn Garrison, Esq. has been named Mid-Atlantic regional director, and Monica Harris has been appointed international regional director.

As Mid-Atlantic regional director, Garrison will oversee the D.C., Richmond, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh chapters. She is employed at Lighthouse and is the senior manager, Proposal Marketing, and founder and Steering Committee chair for the Military and Allies Standing Together (MAST) employee resource group. Garrison has been a member of WiE since 2013 and has previously served as director of the Pittsburgh chapter and social media director of the Philadelphia chapter. Throughout her involvement, she has consistently exemplified a dedication to championing and empowering women in the legal technology industry.

“It’s a privilege to serve as the Mid-Atlantic regional director for Women in eDiscovery,” says Garrison. “This organization has played a pivotal role in my professional journey, and I’m excited to give back by supporting our chapters in D.C., Richmond, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. I look forward to fostering deeper connections, championing innovation and empowering women across the legal tech community.”

Harris has been an active participant in Women in eDiscovery since 2015, when she became a member of the Philadelphia chapter, and moved into a leadership position in 2018 as assistant director of the Washington, D.C. chapter. Throughout her involvement, she has demonstrated a commitment to supporting and empowering women within the legal technology space.

In her new role, Harris will provide leadership and support to WiE’s international chapters, promoting collaboration and engagement among members worldwide. As the organization continues to expand its global reach, Harris’s leadership is expected to strengthen connections and create opportunities for women in legal technology across different regions.

“I am honored to step into this role and continue contributing to the Women in eDiscovery community,” says Harris. “As regional director for international chapters, I’m excited to support our global members, foster collaboration across borders and help amplify the voices and impact of women in eDiscovery worldwide.”

Women in eDiscovery has been at the forefront of providing education, networking and mentorship opportunities for women in legal technology since its founding in 2007. With the addition of both Garrison and Harris to its leadership team, WiE continues its mission to inspire and empower women in the field.
