KLDiscovery Names Lou Paglia as Chief Executive Officer

Succeeds Mike Suchsland, who served in an interim leadership role and will remain as Chair of the Board of Directors. KLDiscovery positioned to continue delivering exceptional eDiscovery solutions for clients.

Eden Prairie, MN – June 3, 2025 – KLDiscovery Inc.  (“KLDiscovery” or the “Company”), a leading global provider of electronic discovery, information governance, and data technology solutions, today announced the appointment of Lou Paglia as Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”), effective immediately. A seasoned corporate executive with deep experience in software and business services, Mr. Paglia will lead KLDiscovery through its next phase of growth, continuing to deliver best-in-class eDiscovery solutions powered by proprietary, transformative technology. 

Mr. Paglia succeeds Mike Suchsland, who has served in an interim leadership role since January 2025. Mr. Suchsland will remain Chair of the Board and will work with Mr. Paglia and the executive leadership team to ensure a seamless transition of CEO responsibilities.

Mr. Paglia has more than two decades of experience in leading and scaling high growth companies across a number of industries. Most recently, he served as the President & Chief Operating Officer of Sterling Check Corporation (acquired by First Advantage Corporation in 2024), an industry-leading global provider of background screening and identity verification solutions. During his tenure, Sterling modernized its platform, entered new markets, and experienced transformational growth. Prior to that, Mr. Paglia held executive roles in product, operations, and general management, for companies including MTV Networks (a division of Viacom), Infogroup, Factiva (a joint venture between Dow Jones and Reuters), as well as numerous early-stage companies.
