Richard has spent his career using data to solve problems and the last 10 years working with attorneys. From false claims to class action to privacy, Richard has seen a wide breadth of legal matters and technical use cases. As a co-founder of Sapling Data, Richard leads the client services team and guides the direction of the Sapling Platform to provide legal teams with new levels of insight, increased productivity, and the ability to think creatively about how they can use data to advocate for their clients. Richard and co-founder Michael Truchard believe that a user-centric approach, strategic perspective, and a smart technical foundation are the fundamentals that are quickly advancing the Sapling Platform from scrappy start-up to strategic must-have.
