My latest blog post for IPRO’s blog uses the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC) Global Institute conference (which is coming up next week) as a backdrop for a discussion about the terrific CLOC Core 12 infographic!
If you’ve been reading my posts regularly, you know that I’m a big fan of infographics! I’ve covered the Information Governance Reference Model (IGRM) several times and referenced the EDRM model as well. On this blog last year, my most viewed blog post (by far) was coverage of the 2021 Internet Minute Infographic. I’m checking daily for the 2022 version and will publish it as soon as it’s out!
The CLOC Core 12 infographic may be more informative than any of those. It reflects 12 functional areas that “appl[y] to many environments and requirements towards operational excellence.” As you can see via the CLOC Core 12 infographic above, it’s literally legal ops “around the CLOC”, represented in a circle, just like a clock!
So, how does CLOC define “legal operations”? What is the stated goal for each of the functional areas? How do you get to the interactive version of the infographic? And where does eDiscovery fit in? You can find out on IPRO’s blog here. It’s just one extra click! 😉
So, what do you think? Are you going to the CLOC conference next week? And do you have a song from Bill Haley and the Comets stuck in your head now? I sure do! Please share any comments you might have or if you’d like to know more about a particular topic.
