The CLOC Global Institute conference (CGI) started yesterday with a “soft” opening! Here are the Tuesday CGI 2023 sessions and events to check out!

Corporate Legal Operations Consortium’s conference – CLOC 2023 – will be conducted May 15th through May 18th. It will be held at the Bellagio in Las Vegas and is a fully in-person event this year. Here’s the detailed schedule for the conference (on which I generated a word cloud of topics a couple of weeks ago).

With the growing importance of Legal Operations, there is a sprint toward increasing operational maturity. In order to “do more with less” cost-effectively, legal teams should focus on ways to optimize efficiency and maturity in CLOC’s Core 12 Functional Areas.

Whether it is in the court of public opinion, employee engagement or access to capital, ESG is now a major factor. In this session, we bring to life the critical linkage between business prosperity, in the widest sense, and ESG.  We hear from some industry experts and importantly discuss where you and your legal department could and should feature in this critical area.
