Happy New Year! It’s 2024! As always, a new year brings a new slate of eDiscovery events, conferences and meetings. Courtesy of Rob Robinson’s excellent ComplexDiscovery site, you know when many of the eDiscovery events in 2024 are currently planned.
In Rob’s post Stay Ahead in 2024: A Concise List of eDiscovery Events, he once again provides a working list of eDiscovery events in 2024, stating: “This update provides a non-exhaustive list of eDiscovery-related events, conferences, and meetings that are scheduled to take place in 2024. This list serves as a valuable starting point for individuals and organizations looking to stay informed and engaged in the eDiscovery space.”
Rob has compiled a list of events every year for several years now and I’m happy to say I’ve covered it for several years as well. His yearly post is a great reference guide for key events and Rob continues to update it as events are added or dates for events are announced.
Not only does Rob compile the list every year, but he starts compiling it early – his initial posting for this year’s list is dated November 2, 2023 – barely after Halloween! So, why do I wait until now to cover it? It’s a timely and easy post for me to cover to start off the new year! Thanks, Rob!
Anyway, here are a few notable eDiscovery events in 2024 that are currently scheduled (with links to the sites when available):

You can find a much more comprehensive list of events in Rob’s post here. This is a link you’ll want to save as a favorite to reference periodically to identify updates to the schedule.
So, what do you think? Do you plan to attend any in-person eDiscovery events in 2024? Please share any comments you might have or if you’d like to know more about a particular topic.

the numbers for the days of the week are in a random order, which gives one pause, did you ask for the month of december 2023 in the query? How does the AI machine know which month you were seeking to rip off the wall.
Hi Stephen,
Yes, I did ask for December 2023 and it got that part right. But the image illustrates one issue I’ve seen with AI-generated images – they don’t consistently represent text and numbers accurately. I generated about 4 different images for this post and they all had the same result.
I’ve seen it with others too where I was trying to represent certain words – it may get some of them right, but not others. Something to keep in mind when using AI to generate images, at least for DALL-E.
