Time for another thought leader interview on eDiscovery Today! This time, I’m interviewing Rachi and Shimmy Messing of ALTorney!
Rachi Messing has been a legal technology and eDiscovery veteran for over two decades, having worked with Equivio and then Microsoft after the Equivio acquisition for about ten years. And Shimmy Messing has also been a legal technology and eDiscovery veteran for over two decades, having been CTO at Advanced Discovery and a Partner at Responsive Data Solutions. For the last two years, Rachi and Shimmy have been the founders of ALTorney, a solution designed to streamline and automate the process of hiring document reviewers for review projects.
During the interview, we discussed what ALTorney does and the services the company provides to legal and eDiscovery teams, what the first two years have been like in terms of successes (after my initial coverage of ALTorney here in August 2022), challenges and growth of the business, how the advent of generative AI has impacted companies like ALTorney and the services they provide, what their plans are for Relativity Fest coming up (in 1 1/2 weeks!) and the interview series that Rachi and Shimmy are conducting leading up to Relativity Fest.
Oh, and how Isaiah Likely wishes his foot was smaller (sorry, Rachi and Shimmy, and all other Ravens fans!). OK, technically, that was before the interview, but still… 😉
