LTH GenAI Legal Tech

LTH GenAI Legal Tech Map from Legaltech Hub: Artificial Intelligence Trends

Legaltech Hub (LTH) is a great resource for legal tech tools. Their quarterly LTH GenAI Legal Tech Map tracks (a lot of) tools with GenAI offerings.

I became aware of the LTH GenAI Legal Tech Map when seeing Stephanie Wilkins, Director of Content at LTH, speak at both Relativity Fest and the Masters Conference Philadelphia the past two weeks. In both cases, she displayed the LTH GenAI Legal Tech Map you see at the top of the post here.

Oh, you can’t read it? That’s because the most recent LTH map dated September 29, 2025 features 728(!) GenAI product placements by 587 vendors across 19 different categories.

The last iteration of the LTH GenAI Legal Tech Map, dated June 26, 2025, featured 638 GenAI product placements across 19 different categories. So, they’ve added 90 new products to the map in the last three months.

At least from an eDiscovery software standpoint, I think that’s not enough. LTH currently shows 29 eDiscovery software solutions that have GenAI and LLM capabilities. I know there are more – at least one solution that has been classified in other areas but not eDiscovery (even though it’s an amazing solution for eDiscovery review) and another solution that has been left off the LTH GenAI Legal Tech Map entirely (even though I’ve covered its GenAI capabilities many times on this blog).

You can get to the current version of the actual interactive map here. This one you CAN read (if you Zoom in, that is). You can click on any logo below to be taken to the associated directory listing for that product or click on any category name to see the entire list of products in that category. LTH says that is “including those that have not yet incorporated GenAI”, but that doesn’t seem to be the case (as evidenced by the fact that the eDiscovery software category is missing numerous solutions that exist but aren’t on the list, regardless of their GenAI status). There are WAY more than 29 total eDiscovery solutions.

Then again, it’s a constantly changing GenAI landscape just in legal and it’s not surprising there are some omissions. LTH says that if you’ve created a legal tech product that incorporates GenAI, or have incorporated GenAI to update an existing product, please let them know at curation@legaltechnologyhub.com so they can include your information in their next map update.

Hey, it’s a hard job, but we can get the eDiscovery solution category where it needs to be. I’ll certainly let them know about solutions that I think need to be included in their GenAI list and ask them about the statement regarding the eDiscovery software category.

Still, it’s an impressive list and I hope LTH keeps producing their quarterly LTH GenAI Legal Tech Map. If anything, it shows just how vast the GenAI legal tech landscape is!

So, what do you think? Are you surprised there are so many legal tech solutions with GenAI capabilities? Please share any comments you might have or if you’d like to know more about a particular topic.
