The 11th Annual UF Law eDiscovery Conference is Next Week!: eDiscovery Best Practices

It’s the biggest conference dedicated to eDiscovery education! The 11th annual UF Law eDiscovery Conference is next week!

The 11th annual UF Law eDiscovery Conference conducted by the University of Florida Levin College of Law (UF Law) stretches over two days for the third year in a row. This year, the conference will be held on February 28th and 29th and they “invite you to leap (see what they did there?) forward with us into the next dimension of eDiscovery. This pivotal conference offers an avenue to shape the present and redefine what the legal industry will look like in the future.”

This year’s conference features speakers, panels, and presentations from over 60(!) global lawyers, eDiscovery and legal technology experts, and judicial officials. Once again, it’s literally a “who’s who” of eDiscovery experts once again this year!

The conference covers everything from generative AI’s future to eDiscovery case law to handling unique challenges like emojis to personal branding and mental health to ESI protocols and eDiscovery contract negotiations to quality control and assurance to government investigations to the annual judicial panel to (of course) more generative AI! The full agenda is available here for you to check out.

I’m honored and excited to participate again this year in the conference! My session will be the session Navigating Complexity: Using Project Management to Avoid E-Discovery Disasters on Thursday, February 29th at 9am ET! I will be speaking with Mike Quartararo, President of ACEDS (who literally wrote the book on project management) and Joy Holley, who is a Legal Operations Consultant with experience managing eDiscovery projects at the law firm and corporate level! It would be a “disaster” to miss our discussion! 😉

And the good news is you don’t have to miss it, or any session, no matter where you are! You can register here to attend the conference! In-person attendance is full (if you missed it, don’t blame me, I warned you back in November!), but you can still register to attend virtually – and it’s FREE! There’s even CLE credit for most of the conference! There’s no reason not to attend!

Important Note: Harassment, including sexual harassment, continues to be a problem at conferences, and in society in general. Here is a recent post I published regarding incidents that occurred at this year’s Legalweek conference that also has resources with more information (suggestions for additional resources welcome). Let’s make conferences and our workplaces safe for everyone.
